Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort RAVEN - April 27–30

The Heritage Golf Tour heads to one of the Emerald Coast’s premier championship venues for the First Major of the 2026 season at Raven Golf Club at Sandestin, April 27–30.

This three day championship week will feature:

  • Monday, April 27 – Pro-Am & Practice Rounds

  • April 28–30 – 54-hole professional competition

This will be a 54-hole walking event played on a true championship layout that has hosted Korn Ferry Tour events, PGA TOUR Champions events, high-level qualifiers, collegiate championships, and elite regional tournaments. Raven consistently tests every part of a player’s game with its demanding tee shots, strategic risk-reward holes, firm greens, and championship conditioning.

First place is guaranteed $10,000, with an elevated total purse estimated around $30,000, making this one of the biggest and most important stops on the Heritage Golf Tour calendar. With major points on the line and a championship-caliber venue, this event will be a defining moment early in the season for players chasing Player of the Year honors.

U.S. Open Qualifier Course Conditions

Raven Golf Club will also be hosting a U.S. Open Local Qualifier on May 4, just days after our event. As a result, players can expect the course to be in peak championship condition during Major week, with immaculate greens, tournament-level setups, and the best overall conditioning of the year.

For players who may be planning to compete in U.S. Open qualifying, this event also provides an ideal opportunity to compete on and learn the golf course under championship conditions just prior to the qualifier.

July 14-16th

The Heritage Golf Tour heads to Santa Rosa Beach Country Club for the Second Major of the season, June 13–15. This event will be contested on one of the most private and rarely accessible championship venues the tour will play all year, offering players a unique opportunity to compete on a course few ever get to experience in tournament conditions.

This will be a 54-hole walking event on a native coastal-style layout that is truly one of a kind in the Florida Panhandle. With natural terrain, coastal winds, and a design that rewards creativity and precision, Santa Rosa Beach Country Club presents a test you simply don’t find elsewhere in the region.

First place is guaranteed at least $10,000, with an elevated purse estimated around $30,000, making this a true major championship with significant money and points on the line.

Championship Conditions

Santa Rosa Beach Country Club hosts only two outside events per year, and the event immediately before ours is an AJGA tournament. With one of the premier junior tours preparing the course just days prior, players can expect the course to be in peak condition, with pure greens and a championship setup for Major week.

Following its redesign by Bill Bergin, the course has developed a strong reputation among competitive players for its strategic design, demanding green complexes, and immaculate conditioning.

This major combines a rare venue, coastal championship golf, and an elevated purse — a can’t-miss stop on the Heritage Golf Tour schedule.

August 16-18

The Heritage Golf Tour heads to Capitol Hill’s Senator Course for the Third Major of the season, a true championship test designed by Robert Trent Jones and widely regarded as one of the toughest tracks we play all year.

This will be a 54-hole walking event with a Pro-Am, contested on a demanding, big-ballpark layout that rewards elite ball-striking, disciplined course management, and mental toughness. The Senator is long, exposed, and relentlessly challenging—exactly what you expect from a major championship venue.

First place is guaranteed $10,000, with an elevated purse estimated around $30,000, making this a pivotal stop in the season-long points race.

Championship Pedigree & Accolades

Capitol Hill (The Senator) is one of the flagship venues on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail and has hosted elite competition for decades, including:

  • Epson Tour Championship (LPGA’s official developmental tour)

  • PGA TOUR Q-School Finals (historically)

  • Alabama Open (annual state championship)

  • Numerous top-level collegiate and amateur championships

The Senator is known for its championship-scale design, demanding sightlines, penal rough, and premium green complexes, consistently set up to test professionals at the highest level.

This major brings together a storied venue, a brutal championship layout, and elevated stakes—one of the most important and challenging weeks on the Heritage Golf Tour calendar.

Tour championship

The season reaches its defining moment at Burnt Pine Golf Club, where the top players of the year gather for a 54-hole walking championship that demands consistency, endurance, and elite shot-making.

With $10,000 guaranteed to the winner and an estimated $30,000 purse, the Tour Championship delivers one of the most competitive and rewarding stages of the season. More than just prize money is on the line—this event also crowns the Player of the Year, with the points champion earning a paid stage of Q-School, providing a direct opportunity to advance to the professional ranks.

The Venue

Designed by legendary architect Rees Jones, Burnt Pine is widely regarded as one of the premier and most exclusive golf experiences in Florida. Known as the “Crown Jewel of Florida Golf,” the course blends championship design with the natural beauty of the Emerald Coast.

The layout offers a dynamic contrast throughout the round—players open among towering pines and protected wetlands before finishing along the scenic shores of Choctawhatchee Bay. Rolling fairways, strategic bunkering, and constantly shifting shot values demand precision on every hole.

Burnt Pine consistently earns recognition from Golf Digest and Golfweek, ranking among the top courses in Florida and top resort courses in the country. Its private-club atmosphere and limited access make it a rare and fitting venue for a championship of this level.

A Championship Finish

This is where the season is decided.

A premier field. A world-class test. Meaningful stakes.

One player will claim the Tour Championship title.
One will earn Player of the Year honors.
And one will take a significant step toward the next level of competitive golf.
